General Regulation of Data Protection

Rederia 05.14.2018

The General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) is one of the biggest changes regarding how the processing of personal data should be done. It comes into force on May 25, 2018 and supersedes the applicable data protection policy and law. It applies to the public sector, companies, natural persons, and organizations processing personal data regardless of whether such processing occurs within or outside the European Union.

The concept of “Personal Data” thus becomes a broad and elastic concept, presenting this regulation a set of principles of mandatory respect in the treatment of this personal data.

RedeRia Inovation S.A. has already begun to prepare its organization internally, knowing and analyzing the new rules and obligations, in order to take the necessary measures in a timely manner, thus ensuring compliance with the Regulation.
